Quotes
From Preston Events Secretaries 2020 - Ceilidh at Ivory Tower, Preston for 150 students
Kittyhawk made our night a great success! The caller was so patient - helping everybody with learning the steps before the dances began. The band were superb.
They were also brilliantly easy to work with, liaising with the venue themselves to organise setting up etc. We will definitely be having them back next year.

From St Annes Old Links Golf Club:
'Hi folks,
Just a short note to say thanks for a super night at the above. The music and dance calling were great and no doubt lead to such a high level of participation. You caught the mood and requirements brilliantly.'
Feedback from wedding at Bartle Hall:
'Fabulous sound last night, really enjoyable. Great dancing, humorous caller. Brilliant stuff.'

From the Events Secretary, Preston Medical Society 2019 (Ceilidh at Preston North End Stadium for 150+ students)
‘We hired Kittyhawk for our annual Charity Ceilidh for Preston Medical Society and they were brilliant! The majority of guests hadn’t done the dances before and the band and their wonderful caller made it easy and so much fun. The dance floor was packed all night with everyone having a go! The music was amazing and the caller lead everyone so well, there were rave reviews on the night!! We will definitely be recommending this band to others and hope to have them again next year. Kittyhawk were a delight to work with and very helpful on the day with set up etc., I can’t recommend them enough.’

Feedback from Burns Night 2018:
'Great feedback from our end at The Tithe Barn. Oh what a night. The question everyone asked was......When are you getting them back???? A real enjoyable night.'

The 5 musicians have a vast amount of live performance experience and play a variety of instruments and 4 part vocal harmonies. They are comfortable performing the traditional folk standards and are also able to ‘rock it up’ with the likes of their Steeleye Span repertoire.
KittyHawk also write and perform their own folk songs turning a gentle folk sensitivity to events in the media and retelling stories of local historic events. They focus on a strong musical arrangement that frames the intelligent lyrical content to provide an engaging listener experience.
